The final week for the term is fast approaching. Here is some information to keep you on top of things:
Tuesday 26th June
The BLC classes will be having a visit from some Police officers to talk to us about keeping safe in the community and the role of Police officers. This ties in with our work this term on how we can keep ourselves safe. The visit will include having a look at a Police car and Motorbike! A very big thank you to Nancy Johns (Thomas Johns in the Super Stars’ room) for helping to organise this.
As mentioned in our previous post this day is also ‘Team Colours’ day where students come to school in their favourite sport team’s colours.
Friday 29th June
Mud Day for the BLC students. Please click on the link below if you need further information about this:

BOOK FAIR
Book Fair is heading our way next term!
This is an opportunity for students to purchase books in this Scholastic sale. Each class will visit the Fair at the beginning of week 3 to view the titles available for purchase. Students will complete a wish list on this visit but they are under no obligation to purchase these books. A percentage of all sales will allow the school to purchase books for our library and reading programmes.
Please note, there will be no Browse and Borrow this week. Opening times for parents are:
Monday, 6th August: 3.00 – 4.00
Tuesday, 7th August: 8.30 – 9.00 and 3.00 – 4.00

Winners will be announced 4:30 Tuesday the 7th of August. Vouchers can be collected from the Fair.
You are invited to bring your children before and after school or come and browse by yourself, before or after the bell on each of these days.
TUESDAY – THURSDAY lunch times: Students who have orders or money to purchase books, may visit the Book Fair for this purpose. Staff will be available to assist students at this time.
Special note: If you are unable to visit the fair, you are able to pre purchase online using your child’s wish list and recording the order number on the back of the list. Your child can bring the wish list with the record of the order number to the fair and collect the item(s). If the prepaid items are sold out they will be ordered and delivered within two weeks of the closing of the fair.
